Railjet

Railjet is one of the most modern and luxurious trains in Europe. It operates mainly in Austria and Czech Republic, with international connections across eight countries. Railjet trains have a maximum speed of 230 kilometres per hour and offer maximum comfort. Enjoy ergonomic seats, free WiFi, a great selection of food, and a play area to keep children entertained along the way.

Reservations and supplements

 

Reservations on the Railjet are mostly optional. However, some reservations are compulsory and some have additional supplements.

How to make reservations for Railjet trains:

 

On the following routes into Italy, passengers pay a supplement:

  • Munich – Innsbruck – Bolzano – Verona – Bologna/Ancona/Venice
  • Vienna – Salzburg – Innsbruck – Bolzano
  • Vienna – Klagenfurt – Villach – Udine – Venice/Trieste

Facilities may differ per train and route. All Railjet services offer powers sockets at all seats for mobiles and laptops and free WiFi. There are no bike carriages on Railjet trains. Railjet offers special equipment and facilities to passengers with limited mobility.
