Terms and Conditions free pass raffle for giving feedback to Interrail

These terms and conditions (hereinafter: “Terms and Conditions”) apply to the “Monthly 1 x Interrail Global Pass" prize draw (hereinafter: “Eurail & Interrail feedback raffle”). The Eurail & Interrail feedback raffle is run by Eurail.com B.V., Leidseveer 10, 3511SB, Utrecht, the Netherland to promote our Eurail ticket services.

The Eurail.com your opinion raffle will be done every month.

The Eurail.com your opinion raffle can be entered by taking part in our feedback survey. Everyone who buys a pass at Eurail.com and Interrail.eu is invited for this survey by e-mail. At the end of this survey you are offered to take part in the Eurail & Interrail feedback raffle.

By entering the Eurail & Interrail feedback raffle, participants automatically accept these Terms and Conditions.

ARTICLE 1: TERMS OF ENTRY

Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time they enter the Eurail & Interrail feedback raffle. Participants younger than 18, are required to obtain parental consent to enter the Eurail & Interrail feedback raffle and leave their personal information.

Participation in the Eurail & Interrail feedback raffle is subject to entering the last name and e-mail via the survey. Eurail.com B.V. will determine the winner through means of a prize draw monthly in the first week of the month.

There will be no communication costs in relation to your entry of the Eurail & Interrail feedback raffle. This doesn’t include your own costs of communication related to an internet subscription.

Upon on entry of the Eurail & Interrail feedback raffle the participant guarantees to have entered the information accurately, truthfully, up-to-date and in full.

Employees of Eurail.com B.V. and associated companies, as well as members of their families, are excluded from participation in the Eurail & Interrail feedback raffle.

A participant can enter once per specific e-mail address.

The Eurail & Interrail feedback raffle is done monthly and all entries of that month are taken into account for the montly prize draw.  A month starts on the first day of the month at 00:01 Western European Time (local Dutch time), and ends on the last day at 23:59 Western European Time (local Dutch time).

 

ARTICLE 2: DETERMINING THE WINNER

The e-mail address listed on the entry are considered to be the unique participant number for the prize draw in the Eurail & Interrail feedback raffle.

The Eurail & Interrail feedback raffle can exclusively be entered in accordance with article 1. The winner of the Prize will be determined through the means of a prize draw. The prize draw will take place in the first week of every month, by means of prize draw random selection.

The winner of the Prize will receive a message via e-mail within 48hrs.

Eurail.com B.V. will contact the winner via e-mail and is authorized to pick another winner, in accordance with article 2.2, if he/she does not respond within 96 hours. In such a case the rights of the previously picked winner will expire.

The Prize Booking form will be delivered to the (e-mail)address which has been filled in by the Prize winner upon entry of the Eurail.com your opinion raffle .

This Prize is not redeemable for cash.

The winner must complete the booking form with traveler and delivery information within 60 Days and return email it to Eurail.com.

The prize will be processed and delivered to the customer within 60 Days of receiving the correctly completed booking form.

In case the Prize is claimed by an individual whom illegally acted as if he was the rightful winner, the damages will be recovered on this individual.

 

ARTICLE 3: THE PRIZE

The Prize consist of: 2 Eurail or Interrail Global Passes (15 travel days in one month), which are valid for 11 months from the time of Booking, the maximum economic value per pass is 772 Euro (as of March, 14^th, 2019).

The total economic value of all rounds is not greater than 1542 Euro (Euro)

The winner may select the duration up to a maximum of 1 month usage.

The winner may also select the class of travel (1st or 2nd).

The economic value of the Prize is including value added tax.

If applicable, the winner shall be responsible to obtain travel documentation, such as a visa.

The winner is responsible for all taxes, costs and other expenses that are not explicitly included in or connected to the prize, and agrees that upon accepting the prize he/she does so entirely at his/her own risk and responsibility.

The winner is responsible for additional reservations that may be needed in some countries or trains.

Guest invited by the winner must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the trip.

 

ARTICLE 4: RIGHTS EURAIL.COM B.V.

Eurail.com B.V. reserves the right to disqualify participant without having to provide a reason in case it suspects the entry of being fraudulent or misconduct.

Eurail.com B.V. reserves the right to disqualify an entry without having to provide a reason in case the participant breaches the rules of these Terms and Conditions or law,

Eurail.com B.V. has the right to reject entries that do not meet these Terms and Conditions.

Eurail.com B.V. reserves the right to end or amend the Competition Prizes, definitions and any other information, or to cancel this Competition at any time without prior notice.

Eurail.com B.V. reserves the right to request written proof of a possible winner’s residence and age before awarding a prize.

 

ARTICLE 5: PERSONAL DATA

Eurail.com B.V. respects the privacy of participants. We shall ensure that all personal information is provided to us in accordance with the Dutch Data Protection law. When entering the Eurail.com your opinion raffle you are asked to enter your name and e-mail. The personal information is used to deliver the Prize to the winner of the Eurail.com your opinion raffle. Eurail.com B.V. may provide personal information to third parties in case this is needed to deliver the Prize.

ARTICLE 6: MAINTENANCE SERVER AND WEBSITE

Eurail.com B.V. reserves the right to temporarily disable the website, or parts of it, for maintenance, changes or improvements of the site and its servers. Eurail.com B.V. cannot be held responsible for the negative consequences of maintenance.

Eurail.com B.V. cannot be held responsible for problems with the network, computer hardware or software, or any breakdown or failure that results in the participant’s entry field or form or any other information becoming incomplete, damaged or lost.

 

ARTICLE 7: COMPLAINTS

Complaints about the Eurail & Interrail feedback raffle can be send to Eurail.com B.V., using the contact information found at the end of these Terms and Conditions.

Eurail.com B.V. will answer the complaint 2 working days after it has been filed.

 

ARTICLE 8: OTHER PROVISIONS

Images and description displayed in relation to the Eurail.com your opinion raffle only serve as an illustration, and the actual representation may be different.

All decisions made by Eurail.com B.V. regarding this Competition shall be considered final; no correspondence will be entered into information about the prizes and how they are awarded.

Eurail.com B.V. acts in accordance with the Dutch Code Promotional Gaming 2014 (Gedragscode Promotionele Kansspelen 2014).

Dutch law applies to this Competition (including these Terms and Conditions).
