What should I do if my Pass is lost, damaged, or stolen?
Can I get a new Interrail Pass if it's lost, damaged or stolen?
Mobile Pass
Yes! If your device gets lost, damaged, or broken with your Pass on it, you can opt to move your Pass to another device. Open the app on your new device and go to My Pass to add your Pass using your last name and Pass number from the order confirmation email. When asked, tap 'Move Pass' and follow the steps to have your Pass moved to the new device.
Paper Pass
No! If your Interrail paper Pass is lost or stolen it can't be replaced (unless you bought Pass Protection* before it was discontinued), meaning you cannot get a new copy with the same Pass number. You will either have to buy a new Pass or replacement train tickets to continue travelling (tickets purchased to replace lost or stolen Passes cannot be refunded either). Note: you can order a new (nonrefundable) Interrail Pass and have it shipped to your hotel or hostel address in Europe. You could also buy one from an international train station in Europe, or purchase point-to-point tickets.
If you bought Pass Protection* at the time of ordering your Interrail Pass with Interrail.eu, these extra travel costs are covered up to the remaining value of your Interrail Pass.
You need to follow these simple steps if you're eligible for replacement train tickets with Pass Protection*.
If you bought Pass Protection*, you can order a new Interrail Pass and have it shipped to your hotel or hostel address in Europe. You could also buy one from an international train station in Europe, or purchase point-to-point tickets.
*For sale until 3 October 2022
Change of currency
You cannot change the currency once you have a Pass in your cart. Remove the Pass, and then change the currency on the website header.
