Flexible Planning
You can buy an Interrail Global Pass up to 11 months before you travel. All you need to know is when you want to travel to get transportation checked off your list. It might even be the motivation you need to plan out other aspects of your trip.
Flexible Travel
If you're travelling with an Interrail Global Pass, you can change things up at a moment's notice and take a different route if you like. Maybe you know you want to travel through Europe, but you don't know where yet or you want to be able to choose as you go. The Interrail Global Pass has you covered.
Flexible Exchanges and Cancellations
Sometimes, situations outside our control can get in the way of our travels. That's why Interrail has flexible exchange and return policies that let you book with confidence.
Become even more flexible with a mobile Pass
A mobile Global Pass is our most flexible option to travel Europe by train; after purchase you have 11 months to start using it! Just add it to our Rail Planner app on the day of your departure, activate it, and add your first journey before hopping on your first train.
If you want to travel with a paper Pass, you will have to choose a start date (the day on which your Pass will become valid for use) during check out. The only way to change this date after you've purchased your Pass, is by exchanging it.
Have you updated your device?
The Interrail Mobile Pass is only supported on Apple devices iOS 13.0 and later and Android devices 6.0 and later. You can check your device settings if you're not sure which software version your device is running.

"A great opportunity"
I find the interrailing ticket a great opportunity to have loads of experience in a short space of time for not such an expensive price! This is the 4th time I've booked my ticket and each time the process of ordering has been easy and smooth.
Using the ticket itself throughout the trip is also easy and all train operators are on board with the deal.
Great experience, would highly recommend to anyone - go and visit the world :)

- What is an Interrail Pass?
-
The Interrail Pass is a single train pass that lets you travel as much as you want on participating European train networks for a set amount of travel days. There are different validities you can choose from, ranging from just 4 travel days up to a maximum of 3 months.
You can travel with an Interrail Global Pass, which is valid in 33 European countries, or pick one of the Interrail One Country Passes.
The majority of our Passes, including the Interrail Global Pass, are now also available as a mobile Pass.
- What is a travel day?
-
A travel day is a 24-hour period in which you can travel on trains with your Interrail Pass. It lasts from 00:00 (midnight) to 23:59 on the same calendar day. On each travel day, you have access to the train networks where your Interrail Pass is valid.
On average, it won't take you more than 1 travel day to go from one European city to the next. For instance, you can use 1 travel day to get from London to Paris and another travel day to go from Paris to Amsterdam.
For mobile Passes a travel day lasts from 00:00 (midnight) to 23:59 Central European Time (CET). Please note that some European countries do not observe CET. Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece are all one hour ahead (CET+1). This means there can be a difference in the start and end time of a travel day when compared to your local time while travelling.
- Which Interrail Pass should I choose?
-
Which Pass you should choose depends first and foremost on where you want to go. If you're planning to visit a single country, you can choose the One Country Pass for that country. If you want to visit multiple countries, the Global Pass (valid in 33 European Countries) is your best bet.
Secondly, you should choose a Pass that matches the number of days you plan to use the European train network. These so-called travel days are offered in a wide range, starting at just 4 days up to a maximum of 3 months.
Change of currency
You cannot change the currency once you have a Pass in your cart. Remove the Pass, and then change the currency on the website header.
