    Festivals in Romania

    Traveling through Romania by train is fantastic: the country has amazing cities, people and nature. And festivals, too! These events might have been around for a short time only, but don't worry, they are totally up to speed with festivals that have been around for longer. A visit to at least one of them is a must!

    Untold Festival

    Dates: 30 July - 2 August 2020

    Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania

    Headliners: Afrojack, Alesso, DJ Snake, David Guetta, Iggy Azalea, Martin Garrix, The Pussycat Dolls, The Script

    The 5th edition of Untold Festival will undoubtedly be fantastic. After 4 years of sold out editions, with great DJ’s and producers, we understand completely you want to get your hands on a ticket. Are you ready to attend the largest EDM music festival of the year?

    There are many trains to Cluj-Napoca from all over Romania. The festival takes place in the Cluj Arena, close to the old city center, which is easily reachable by the city’s public transport.

    Electric Castle

    Dates: 15 - 19 July 2020

    Location: Bontida, Romania

    Headliners: Twenty One Pilots, The Neighbourhood, Foals, Tommy Cash, Fisher

    This bunch of popular artists, who bring rock, indie and electronic music to the festival, is pulling in a very eclectic crowd to the hills of Transylvania. And, also good to know, by attending this amazing festival you will impact the community in a positive way!

    It is easiest to leave from Cluj-Napoca, from here you can take a train to Bontida. It’s also possible to make use of a shuttle service from Iulius Mall or Horia Damian Sports Hall. 

    Neversea Festival

    Dates: 2 - 5 July 2020

    Location: Constanța, Romania

    Headliners: Black Eyed Peas, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Nicky Romero, Passenger, Timmy Trumpet, Tyga

    Neversea takes place on the beach of Constanța, a city on the Black Sea coast. From Bucharest the train takes you to the festival in just under three hours.
