    Bergen Railway scenic train

    The Bergen Railway runs between Bergen and Oslo and will show you some of Norway’s most spectacular scenery. Travel from deep fjords to snow-covered mountaintops and from frozen lakes to grassy plains. Seasons appear to change along the way on a magnificent journey that you will never forget.     Interrail passes valid for Norway can be used to travel on the Bergen Railway. There are no additional costs.

     

    Special features

    This train has a special family coach, designed for parents traveling with small children. The coach offers a large amount of space, making it easy to travel with pushchairs, and even a playground with climbing frames.

     

    You can also make this trip at night, in which case you’ll have to reserve a bed in one of the added sleeping compartments. However, we recommend you take this trip in full daylight, so you won’t miss out on any of the amazing scenery.
