Interrail Italy Pass benefits
- Can I protect my pass against loss and theft?
Yes, for a small extra fee our Pass Protection covers the cost of replacement train tickets, should your valuable Interrail Pass get lost or stolen. The costs of the train tickets you need in order to keep travelling are covered up to the remaining value of your Pass.
You can add Pass Protection to your Interrail Pass order in the Shopping Cart.
- Can I travel longer than 1 month?
The Interrail pass with the longest validity is the Global Pass - 3 month continuous.
There's so much to see and do in Europe, so it's no surprise that many travellers want to spend more than a month interrailing in Europe. You can do this by ordering one of the 2/3 month Interrail passes or a combination of multiple passes. Just make sure that the other passes are valid on the day after the first pass has expired!
On Interrail.eu you can buy multiple Interrail passes in a single transaction and have them delivered to your home or work address.
- How far in advance can I order an Interrail Pass?
The earliest in advance you can order an Interrail Pass is 11 months before you start your trip.
When you order your Interrail Pass, you'll need to enter the date when you want to start travelling with your pass. This date is printed on your Interrail Pass as your start date. You can order your pass anywhere within the 11 months before this date.
- Can I travel with Interrail in my own country?
If you have an Interrail Global Pass, you can travel on one travel day to leave your country of residence (outbound) and on one travel day to return (inbound). You can use these journeys in your country on travel days at any point in your Pass’ validity. Read more about travel in your own country.
Interrail One Country Passes are only valid for the trains in the country indicated on the Pass. You cannot purchase an Interrail One Country Pass for your own country of residence.
Please note that the Interrail Benelux Pass is valid in 3 countries. So if you're a Dutch resident, you can use this pass for travel in Belgium and Luxembourg.
