Trust us, the British know how to throw a party! If Great Britain wasn't on your summer itinerary already, it will be after reading all about these amazing festivals we selected for you. Plan your time well and visit at least one, we promise you it will not be disappointing.
Glastonbury Festival
Location: Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset, England

What started out as a small gathering of people, is now one of the world’s biggest 5-day festivals with amazing musicians, dancers and other artists. Attending Glastonbury will be an experience you’ll never forget!
The nearest train station is Castle Cary. From here you can take a free shuttle bus (if you have a ticket to the festival) to the festival grounds.
If you are traveling to Creamfields by train, you get off at Warrington Central, Warrington Bank Quay or Liverpool Lime Street. From here you can take a Creamfields shuttle buss to the site.
There is no direct connection by train to Latitude Festival, so your best option is taking a bus or share a ride with other festival travelers.
There are two train stations close to the festival: Derby and East Midlands Parkway. From both stations there are shuttle busses that go directly to the festival grounds. A return tickets costs £10.
Reading & Leeds Festival

One festival in two cities, that's Reading & Leeds Festival! The festivals take place simultaneously and the same artists are performing in both cities, just on different days and on different schedules. This year's line-up includes the Foo Figters and Post Malone, so be prepared to rock!
Both festivals are reachable by train. From Leeds train station you take the festival bus to the festival grounds. From Reading train station it is a 15 minute walk to the festival.
Isle of Wight Festival
Location: Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight, England

Isle of Wight Festival has been called the ‘Woodstock of England’: just like Woodstock, the festival was originally a counterculture event. Some of the best and most popular artists are taking the stage on this 4-day festival, so you better come prepared to party.
Take a train to any of the 4 ferry ports at Southampton, Portsmouth, Lymington or Southsea. From here you take a ferry to the island.
