Santa Cruz is a beautiful neighbourhood to explore on foot. Previously the Jewish quarter, this vibrant region of the city is defined by narrow streets, thriving tapas bars and interesting museums. It’s a great place in which to get lost and track down a high-quality meal. After lunch it might be a good idea to have a traditional Spanish siesta.

Alameda de Hércules may have the reputation for the best nightlife in Seville, but it’s worth a visit even if you’re not partying the night away. There are several open-air restaurants perfect for people watching, and if the mood takes you it’s easy to find a bit of live music before turning in for the night.
